Getting Started

Set up your Commons display in minutes. Follow these steps to go from unboxing to live content.

Unbox and connect

Connect your Raspberry Pi to your display via HDMI. Plug in the Pi's power supply and connect it to your Wi-Fi network (or use an ethernet cable). The Pi will boot automatically.

Note the pairing code

Once the Pi is online, it will display a 6-character pairing code on screen. This code is valid for 30 minutes. If it expires, the Pi will automatically request a new one.

Claim the display

Log in to your Commons account and go to Claim a Display . Enter the pairing code, choose which location this display belongs to, and give it a name.

Content appears

As soon as you claim the display, three starter slides begin cycling automatically: a welcome greeting, a placeholder for your hours and info, and a prompt to customize. No uploads needed — it just works.

Customize from your dashboard

Edit the starter slides or add your own. Upload images, set your business hours, or create new reels. You can manage everything from your dashboard — changes appear on the display within seconds.
